Spicy chicken with honey

Mix all the seasoning ingredients and marinate the chicken well in it.

Leave the chicken in the fridge over night covered with cling film.

Grill on a charcoal barbecue without burn the sweet outside of the chicken,

that means the distance between the glowing charcoal and the tray must not

be to small. We just need a smoking fragrance. Take from the barbecue and place the chicken on a oven tray covered with aluminium foil.

Grill well on 180°C and turn from time time. Pour the rest of the marinade after the cooking time of about 25 minutes over the chicken.

 

Serve the chicken on chopped lettuce leaves, cilantro and garnish with chilies and lime and some grated fresh coconut.

1 fresh whole chicken, cut in chunky pieces

4 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped.

3 tablespoons sambal oelek

2 tablespoons honey

 

2 tablespoons soy sauce

 

2 teaspoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons oil
